Your new role

As a Data Communications Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of communication and data infrastructure across a variety of sites throughout Brisbane and regional Queensland. This is a home-based role operating from Acacia Ridge, with a fleet vehicle provided for work-related travel.

You will work Monday to Friday with participation in an on-call roster and have the opportunity to contribute to a range of projects within a supportive and highly experienced team. The role involves regular travel, including working away from home when required, with all accommodation and travel expenses covered.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Certificate III in Telecommunications or Data Communications
• Current ACMA Cabling Licence
• Construction White Card
• Working at Heights certification
• Confined Space certification
• Current manual driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A high level of physical fitness, with the ability to undertake physically demanding work and heavy workloads
