Civil Construction Labourers (Casuals)

The Company

Comstar Systems is a full-service Australian telecommunications company, our head office is based in Goodwood, Tasmania with branches located in Southern and Northern Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia. We pride ourselves on providing turnkey solutions in telecommunications and broadcasting.

The Role

We are currently looking for experienced Civil Construction Labourers to support our Telecommunications new site delivery and operations (Greenfield Builds) projects on a casual basis.

This field / site-based role assists in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Supervisors to confirm site build requirements
• Carry out formwork activities
• Perform reinforcement and concrete placement tasks
• Maintain accurate records, including site photos and daily entries / diaries
• Uphold a clean, orderly, and safe worksite
• Complete all required training and competency development for the role

Qualifications and Experience

• White Card
• The ability to travel intrastate and interstate
• Sound experience using power tools
• An understanding of QEHS compliance
• Manual Drivers Licence
• National Police Check and Right to Work Check (or the ability to obtain)
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions accurately and collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Dogging or Rigging Assistant experience and/or qualifications - Highly Desirable
