Hairdresser

Our client, Fresh Fades Barber Shop, is seeking a skilled and experienced Hairdresser to join their professional team on a full-time basis. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consulting with clients to recommend suitable hairstyles, haircuts and grooming services based on their preferences and hair type.
• Shampooing, conditioning and preparing hair for cutting, styling and other hair treatments.
• Cutting, trimming and styling hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other professional barbering tools.
• Performing modern fades, taper cuts and contemporary men's hairstyles with precision.
• Shaving, trimming and shaping beards and moustaches using clippers and straight razors.
• Applying hair colouring, bleaching, straightening and other chemical treatments where required.
• Recommending and advising clients on hair care products and ongoing hair maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe work environment by sanitising tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Managing client appointments, providing excellent customer service and processing payments.
• Assisting in maintaining stock levels of hair care and grooming products and ensuring salon presentation standards are maintained.

Requirements for the Role:

• Certificate III or higher qualification in Hairdressing or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least one year of full-time relevant work experience as a Hairdresser or Barber.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and workplace safety.

Salary range: $75000-$85000
