About our team: Our Community Paediatric Physiotherapists play a vital role within our Multidisciplinary Allied Health Team, as part of the Children, Young People and Families Service. This service provides high-quality care to children and young people aged 0–18 years living across the Lower Mid North Coast. Working collaboratively with Paediatricians and hospital-based Physiotherapy services, the team delivers comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to support the developmental and functional needs of young clients. Services are provided across the region, with your primary base located in Taree.
What you’ll be doing
The Level 3 Paediatric Physiotherapist will deliver and maintain a high standard of physiotherapy services through effective assessment, diagnosis, and management of children and young people aged 0–18 years across the Lower Mid North Coast. The primary caseload focuses on infants and children aged 0–5 years experiencing physical or developmental challenges, in line with the service’s eligibility criteria. Our team is committed to providing exceptional, family-centred care to children and their families. In this role, you will be supported by experienced senior clinicians and a dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to collaboration and professional excellence. The successful applicant will receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing training, with access to regular clinical supervision, professional development opportunities, and mandatory education support to ensure continued growth and confidence in practice.
