Senior Finance Officer

Your new role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will see you take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping functions while supporting the broader finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice coding, matching and customer invoicing
  • Managing payment runs in line with approved processes
  • Performing bank and credit card reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, audit trails and supporting documentation
  • Providing backup support for payroll processing and assisting with payroll queries
  • Supporting month-end activities, including reconciliations
  • Maintaining master data and assisting with ERP system (MYOB Acumatica) queries

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role
  • Strong accounts payable and receivable experience, along with reconciliation skills
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
