An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Dealer Principal / General Manager to take full leadership responsibility for an established automotive dealership in Port Hedland, WA.



 
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the dealership's overall performance, lead a strong team,  drive profitability and build long-term relationships within the Pilbara community.

About the Role




The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for Sales, Aftersales, Service, Parts, Finance and Administration , with full accountability for dealership performance, profitability, customer experience and team development.



 
You will work closely with senior management and OEM stakeholders to achieve business objectives while identifying opportunities to improve operations and grow the dealership.



 
Key Responsibilities



 

• Take full P&L and operational responsibility for the dealership.
• Lead and develop Sales, Service, Parts, Finance and Administration teams.
• Drive profitability, revenue growth and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement business growth strategies.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators.
• Improve workshop and aftersales performance.
• Build strong OEM, customer and community relationships.
• Develop a high-performing and accountable team culture.
• Drive customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure compliance with relevant automotive and regulatory requirements.

About You



 
We are seeking an experienced automotive leader with a strong combination of commercial, operational and people leadership skills .



 
You will ideally have:



 

• Previous experience as a Dealer Principal, General Manager or senior dealership leader .
• Strong Dealership Operations and P&L Management experience.
• Extensive Sales and Aftersales Operations experience.
• Proven ability to improve business performance and profitability .
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands-on, commercially driven approach.
• Willingness to relocate and build a long-term career in regional WA.
