The Role

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team and provide high-quality analysis, reporting, and commercial support across the business.
• You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis to help drive informed business decisions.
• Partner closely with leadership and operational teams to deliver insights into business performance, key trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly management reports, variance analysis, and board-level reporting.
• Support strategic planning initiatives by building financial models and evaluating business cases, investments, and operational projects.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommendations for action.
• Assist in improving reporting processes, systems, and controls to drive efficiency and accuracy across the finance function.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support broader commercial finance projects as needed.

About You

• You are an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a strong track record in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
• You bring well-developed skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting.
• You are commercially astute and able to translate financial data into meaningful insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• You have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical capability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• You are confident working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships across different areas of the business.
• Experience within the marine, logistics, industrial, transport, or asset-heavy sectors will be highly regarded.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or commerce are expected, and professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or CFA will be viewed favourably.
