An exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a high-performing and fast-paced organisation based in Central Sydney. Leading a sizeable Accounts Payable team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a high-volume transactional function while driving performance, process improvement and stakeholder engagement across the business.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex issues and is passionate about developing and mentoring high-performing teams. Reporting to a Senior Finance Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Accounts Payable Officers, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable function within a high-volume transactional environment
• Manage workflow allocation, team performance and service delivery standards
• Handle and resolve complex supplier queries, payment issues and disputes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with operational and finance teams to ensure efficient invoice processing and payment practices
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive operational efficiencies
• Monitor AP controls, compliance and reporting requirements
• Coach team members, provide ongoing feedback and support professional development initiatives
