Senior Manager - Forensic Accounting | Expert Witness & Commercial Disputes

Full-time

BlueFin

  • Newly created role to build a portfolio forecasting capability from the ground up!
  • Partner with Risk, Finance and senior leaders to influence lending strategy and growth.
  • Forecast portfolio performance, losses and profitability to drive key business decisions.
  • Some forensic accounting roles are centred on investigations.

    This isn't one of them.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded forensic advisory practice working on some of Australia's most complex commercial disputes, litigation matters and expert witness engagements. You'll partner with leading legal professionals, government agencies, insurers and corporate clients, providing independent financial analysis that directly influences high-profile commercial outcomes.
If you're looking to move beyond routine forensic work and into a role where your expertise genuinely shapes litigation strategy and commercial decision-making, we'd like to speak with you.

    The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager, you'll lead sophisticated engagements across:

    • Expert witness and expert report engagements
    • Commercial disputes and litigation support
    • Economic loss assessments and quantification of damages
    • Business interruption and loss of profits analysis
    • Financial investigations and forensic accounting assignments
    • Business and share valuations
    • Arbitration and regulatory matters

You'll work directly with Partners, senior legal counsel and executives while mentoring a high-performing forensic team and helping grow an established practice.

    What We're Looking For
We're interested in experienced forensic accounting professionals who can demonstrate:

    • Extensive experience within forensic accounting, disputes or litigation support
    • Preparation or review of expert reports
    • Economic loss assessments and financial analysis
    • Business valuation or valuation support experience
    • Strong commercial judgement and analytical capability
    • Experience leading client engagements and developing trusted client relationships
    • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualifications

    Highly regarded:

    • Experience acting as, or supporting, an expert witness
    • Court or arbitration experience, including cross-examination exposure
    • Established relationships within the legal, insurance or corporate sectors

    Your Background
You may currently be working within:

    • A Big Four forensic or disputes advisory practice
    • A specialist forensic or litigation consulting firm
    • A mid-tier accounting firm with an established forensic services team
    • A valuation or expert advisory practice

    Current titles may include:

    • Senior Manager
    • Manager
    • Associate Director
    • Director

    Why This Opportunity?
This is a genuine leadership opportunity where you'll work on intellectually challenging matters rather than high-volume investigations. You'll enjoy significant client exposure, direct access to Partners, the opportunity to develop your own profile in the market and a clear pathway for continued career progression.
You'll be joining a collaborative, highly respected team recognised for delivering technically outstanding work while maintaining a supportive and flexible culture.
