About The Position 

We’re looking for a  Microsoft 365 Solution Architect to support and elevate ENTAG’s Cloud and Security capability. This is a  full-time, permanent,  role based in Brisbane or the Sunshine   Coast , where you’ll lead customer-facing solution design, architecture and pre-sales activities across the Microsoft 365 platform. 

You’ll act as the senior technical lead across opportunities – translating customer business and technical requirements into practical, scalable Microsoft 365 solutions. A key part of the role is shaping architectures, scoping work and producing high-quality commercial and technical artefacts, ensuring outcomes are both technically sound and commercially aligned. 

Working closely with Sales, the Practice Lead and delivery teams, you’ll help ensure solutions are well-designed, aligned to best practice and successfully implemented. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer engagement, architecture design, and pre-sales while influencing outcomes across multiple customer engagements. 

In This Role You Will 

• Lead customer consulting engagements, discovery workshops and solution design sessions 
• Translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs, scope and implementation approaches 
• Partner with Sales to support opportunities, shape solutions and drive successful outcomes 
• Develop proposals, estimates, statements of work and other commercial artefacts 
• Act as a trusted advisor across Microsoft 365, providing strategic and technical guidance 
• Produce high-level and detailed architecture and solution design documentation 
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and design oversight to SME engineers 
• Support delivery teams through planning, design validation, risk management and issue resolution 
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex customer scenarios 
• Contribute to service improvement, standards and reusable solution patterns 
• Support pipeline growth through customer engagement and market insights 

We’re Looking For 

Someone who combines deep Microsoft 365 expertise with strong consulting and commercial acumen, and excels in designing practical, customer-focused solutions. 

You’ll thrive if you have:  

• Proven experience working as a  Solution Architect (or equivalent senior design role) 
• Strong experience in customer-facing consulting, solution design and pre-sales 
• Broad Microsoft 365 capability across modern workplace, security, identity, compliance and endpoint management 
• Experience producing architecture designs, scope documents, statements of work and cost estimates 
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to shape right-sized, outcome-driven solutions 
• Experience working collaboratively across sales, engineering and delivery teams 
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value 
• Experience scoping and advising on security and governance initiatives (e.g. Essential Eight, CIS, AI readiness) 
• Microsoft certifications across Cloud, Security, Infrastructure or Azure 
• Experience within an ISP, managed services or consulting environment 
• Exposure to Azure IaaS and PaaS services
