MC Local Wharf Driver- Afternoon shift

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced wharf driver to join our afternoon shift to cover a team member on extended leave.
You'll be based at our Coopers Plains site and be transporting a mix of steel, timber, aluminium and containers to and from the wharf.
Full training will be provided including load restraint and buddy training with an experienced driver.

You will:
Transport steel, aluminium, timber or containers to the wharf.
Complete load restraint in accordance with safety regulations and procedures, including use of chains and binders and straps.
Adhering to safety and compliance policies and procedures
A strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to.

What you'll bring :
Strong MC driving experience and a solid driving history
A good knowledge of Brisbane metro locations and an understanding of load restraint or willingness to learn.
MSIC card- mandatory as you will be completing wharf deliveries and pick-ups.
The ability to complete load restraint with chains and understanding of the physical aspect of this element.
You're reliable, responsible and will approach to your working day with a positive attitude
