About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Australian English accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.

This is a contract role for experienced voice talent based in Australia. Your recordings will help AI systems understand natural human speech — making technology more human for everyone.

• Note: This project does not involve voice cloning

What You'll Do

• Record natural, conversational Australian English speech in a professional studio environment
• Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
• Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech that feels unscripted and natural
• Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery across different scenarios
• Bring your professional polish and performance instincts to every session

Who You Are

• A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with demonstrated experience
• A native or near-native Australian English speaker — your accent is the real deal
• Currently based in Australia
• Comfortable recording natural conversation and dialogue, not just scripted reads
• Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction
• Confident working in a studio environment and delivering quality takes efficiently

Nice to Have

• Acting or broader performance background
• Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or prior studio recording work
• Comfort with improvised or naturalistic speech delivery
