Senior Project Manager | Retail & Commercial Fit-Out

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a well-established commercial fit-out and shopfitting business delivering projects across the retail, hospitality and commercial sectors nationally.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll take ownership of projects from award through to completion while building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional project delivery. This role involves occasional interstate travel (typically once per month) to support projects across Australia.

Tasks and Responsibilties

• Manage commercial fit-out and shopfitting projects from award through to handover.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams across multiple states.
• Monitor project budgets, programmes and overall financial performance.
• Travel interstate as required to oversee project delivery and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in project management within shopfitting or commercial construction
• Strong understanding of joinery, fitout processes, and site operations.
• Previous experience delivering projects within major national shopping centres is highly regarded.
• Willingness to undertake occasional interstate travel (approximately once per month).
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and competing priorities.
