Hamilton Island is seeking an enthusiastic and sales-driven Contact Centre Sales Agent to join our high-performing Reservations Team in Sydney. If you're passionate about sales, guest experience, and creating unforgettable holidays - this could be your next big move.

Based in our St Leonards office, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective guests - delivering personalised recommendations, converting enquiries into bookings, and playing a key role in shaping exceptional stays on Hamilton Island.

Where you'll make an impact

• Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings via phone, email, and live chat across both direct and trade channels
• Using your product knowledge to tailor guest experiences and recommend accommodation, packages, tours, and dining
• Maximising revenue through strong call conversion rates and meeting individual sales KPIs
• Building relationships with key trade partners and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Keeping up to date with all Hamilton Island promotions, offerings and updates to provide accurate, current information
• Supporting the wider Contact Centre team with ad hoc administration tasks as needed

What we're looking for
You're a confident communicator with a proven track record in sales and customer service - and you know how to turn an enquiry into an unforgettable experience. With your strong attention to detail and positive energy, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that rewards initiative and drive.

To be successful, you will need:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a sales-based travel industry role (Desirable)
• Contact/Call Centre experience (Desirable)
• Tertiary travel qualification (Desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and KPIs
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment
