As a Control Systems Engineer at SAGE, you'll leverage your design and delivery expertise in electrical or control systems engineering to successfully deliver high quality engineering solutions. We are currently looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join our Melbourne team, supporting a range of projects including water and wastewater. In This Role, You Will
- Design and deliver technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project.
- Identify and mitigate technical risk, escalating high risk items to management.
- Plan and manage the quality of technical deliverables.
- Track tasks to complete projects within budget and time constraints.
- An appropriate Electrical Engineering qualification or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience within the automation or controls industry.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills with the confidence to be customer facing.
- Strong PC skills including MS Office – specifically Excel.
- Experience in the development of technical documentation and programming of PLCs (GE/Emerson/Siemens) and various HMI/SCADA Systems (GeoSCADA).
- Experience commissioning electrical control systems and drives i.e. variable frequency and/or servo drives.
- Current unrestricted Australian work rights and have an Australian Drivers licence.
