Pre-Construction Manager (Fit-Out / Refurb) – Brisbane CBD – Up to $200,000 + Super

The Pre-Construction Manager will lead the front-end of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across Brisbane, typically ranging from $5M to $10M. Projects are predominantly commercial office and workplace environments, often delivered within live, operational buildings. Due to a strong and growing pipeline in Queensland, this role sits within a well-established, globally backed business, working closely with internal teams and reporting into senior leadership. This is a key role focused on managing the pre-construction phase, shaping projects prior to delivery, and ensuring a smooth handover to site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial brief through to contract award
• Manage estimating, cost planning and bid submissions
• Review drawings, specifications and programmes
• Identify risks, buildability issues and value engineering opportunities
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing and scope alignment
• Develop and manage project budgets through pre-con phase
• Liaise with internal teams to support successful project outcomes
• Ensure smooth transition from pre-construction into delivery
