We are seeking an Assistant Resort Sales Manager to assist in managing daily sales team operations, maintaining service standards, and converting business enquiries into confirmed bookings.

 

You will oversee incoming business leads, delegate workloads, prepare client contracts and proposals, and lead site inspections across our full suite of resort facilities.

 

 

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Team & Workload Management: Assist with daily management of the sales team, establish clear daily priorities, monitor workloads during peak periods, and ensure departmental communication.
  • Enquiry Delegation & Tracking: Review, allocate, and delegate incoming enquiries from website, email, telephone, and direct channels, ensuring prompt acknowledgements and timely follow-ups.
  • Proposal & Contract Preparation: Prepare and review pricing, packages, proposals, and contracts for accommodation, golf, food and beverage, conferences, weddings, and events .
  • Sales Activity & Conversion: Qualify client enquiries, understand budgets and decision-making timelines, and conduct sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to drive conversion.
  • High-Value Support: Provide direct management support for high-value, complex, or time-sensitive sales enquiries.
  • Cross-Departmental Handover: Confirm client requirements, handle concerns professionally, and supply complete booking details to operational departments responsible for delivery.

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in resort, hotel, venue, or hospitality sales, preferably involving conferences, events, weddings, corporate business, or group bookings.
  • Experience working in a busy sales office and coordinating enquiries, proposals, follow-up, and client communication.
  • Ability to support and guide a sales team and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound understanding of pricing, proposals, contracts, and sales reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage client concerns professionally and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Confidence using customer relationship management, sales, booking, and reporting systems.
