A Man & His Cave is Australia's destination for premium man cave products: pool tables, bar fridges, kegerators, arcade machines, pinball machines, and more. We're growing fast, and we're adding one experienced Senior Sales Consultant to join our inbound sales team under our Sales Manager, who has led the team through our growth to $10M.
About the role
You'll be handling warm inbound leads (phone and chat) from customers who've engaged with our brand and are ready to have a consultative conversation about a considered, high-ticket purchase. AOVs sit between $2k and $15k across our product range.
This isn't transactional sales. Our customers expect genuine expertise, patience, and advice. The best reps in this role are the ones who actually care about the products and can hold their own in a conversation with a customer twice their age.
The pipeline
This is a pure inbound role. No cold calling. No prospecting. Your commission is funded by a consistent flow of warm leads produced by our paid marketing channels, including Meta, Google, abandoned cart flows, SMS subscriber base, and returning customer pipelines. We invest heavily and continuously in lead generation because our model depends on it. Your job is to close.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of high-ticket inbound phone sales experience ($2k+ AOV environments)
- Demonstrable track record on close rate, AOV, and price discipline
- Experience selling consultatively to mature buyers (40+)
- Genuine interest in leisure, lifestyle, or home product categories
- Phone presence that builds trust quickly with discerning customers
- Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce experience a plus)
