  • About the Role
    We are seeking a Senior Compliance and Governance Manager (Part-Time) to play a critical leadership role within a growing real estate funds management environment.

    Reporting to managing partners, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance, risk and operational frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

    This is a high-impact role where you will help shape processes, strengthen governance, and drive operational efficiency as the business evolves.

    The role is being recruited on a permanent, part-time basis with the expectation being 3 working days per week. 

    Key Responsibilities of the role include:

    • Lead the development and implementation of risk management and compliance frameworks across investment and operational activities
    • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, standards, and managed investment scheme requirements
    • Conduct compliance reviews and internal control assessments, identifying gaps and implementing improvements
    • Act as the primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and investment teams to support fund operations and new product launches
    • Maintain statutory records and ensure accurate documentation across governance requirements

    Key Requirements of the role include:

    • At least 10 years’ experience in risk, compliance, and operations, ideally within funds management or financial services
    • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, governance practices, and risk management principles
    • Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or a related discipline; professional certifications are highly regarded
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across internal and external teams
    • Strong organisational capabilities and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
