Description

• Lead and manage substation design projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
• Oversee HV substation design, with a background in OHL (Overhead Lines) or P&C (Protection & Control) systems.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks and interfaces effectively.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to design teams, fostering professional growth.
• Ensure timely delivery of design outputs within budget constraints.
• Maintain and enhance quality assurance processes for design projects.

Profile

A successful Substation Design Manager should have:

• Proven expertise in HV transmission design particularly OHL or P&C systems.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards and industry regulations.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams and projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proficiency in risk and interface management within engineering projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• A degree in engineering or a related field.
• A results-driven approach and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
