Description
- Lead and manage substation design projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
- Oversee HV substation design, with a background in OHL (Overhead Lines) or P&C (Protection & Control) systems.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Identify and manage project risks and interfaces effectively.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to design teams, fostering professional growth.
- Ensure timely delivery of design outputs within budget constraints.
- Maintain and enhance quality assurance processes for design projects.
Profile
A successful Substation Design Manager should have:
- Proven expertise in HV transmission design particularly OHL or P&C systems.
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards and industry regulations.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams and projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proficiency in risk and interface management within engineering projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
- A degree in engineering or a related field.
- A results-driven approach and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
