Automotive Battery/Power Sector - BDM - Townsville

Our client is a leading national organisation in the portable power/battery/energy‑storage sector. They are seeking an experienced  Business Development Manager to drive growth across Townsville and surrounding areas.

This full‑time role is ideal for a  motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, expanding market presence, and representing a high‑performance product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand the customer base and increase territory revenue.
• Plan, monitor, and review sales performance of key accounts.
• Negotiate and implement strategies for product distribution channels.
• Provide insights on competitor activity, pricing trends, and new product opportunities.
• Record all customer and prospect interactions using CRM system.
• Lead and execute product promotions.

This role will require  regional travel once a quarter for a week , however, the rest of the focus will be in the Townsville region, with occasional overnight travel required based on opportunities.

We are seeking a positive candidate with a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for building customer relationships.

Salary

A solid (negotiable) base salary, super, fully maintained vehicle (or car allowance) along with tools of trade will be offered to the successful candidate.
