Louttit Bay Bakery is seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our bakery team in Lorne, Victoria. This role is suitable for someone with strong hands-on baking experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a busy bakery environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, knead, mould and bake bread, rolls and other bakery products.
  
• Follow recipes, production schedules and quality standards.
  
• Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, proofers and dough machinery.
  
• Monitor dough quality, baking times and finished product presentation.
  
• Ensure all products are baked fresh and ready for daily customer demand.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised bakery work area.
  
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
  
• Assist with stock rotation, ingredient preparation and minimising wastage.
  
• Work cooperatively with bakery and retail staff to support smooth store operations.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Baker in a retail or commercial bakery environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of bread production and bakery processes.
  
• Ability to work early mornings and follow production timelines.
  
• Good communication, teamwork and reliability.
  
• Commitment to producing high-quality baked products.
