Senior Data Developer || 9 Months Contract || $800-900/Day Plus Super

Location: Geelong, VIC (3 Days/Week in Office)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Developer to support a major transformation program focused on modernising claims and recovery services. You will help maintain continuity of data, reporting and analytics while uplifting data ingestion, modelling and transformation capabilities for a new technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions.
• Develop reliable data sourcing, integration and transformation pipelines.
• Lead system optimisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design secure, scalable data environments aligned with operational and product needs.
• Partner with data architects, analytics teams, technology teams and business stakeholders.
• Support the design, prototyping and production of trusted data and analytics assets.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

Skills And Experience

• 5+ years' experience in software development, data engineering or a related field.
• Advanced programming skills and experience with infrastructure as code.
• Strong capability across cloud technologies and systems administration.
• Proven experience in database design, data modelling and data warehousing.
• Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik or SAS Visual Analytics.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methods and
• CI/CD practices.
• Strong stakeholder communication, prioritisation and organisational skills.
