Your new Role
You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials, components, and information throughout the supply chain to support manufacturing programs and customer delivery commitments. Working closely with Planning, Procurement, Production, Engineering, Program Management, Quality Assurance, and key suppliers, you'll be responsible for driving supply chain performance, mitigating risks, and ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed. This is a highly visible position that offers the opportunity to influence operational performance, support new program introductions, and contribute directly to the success of a strategically important defence capability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Logistics, or related environments.
- Proven experience with dealing with Customs, Export Controls.
- Proven experience with dealing directly with vendors (International and Domestic)
- Experience with working on ERP Systems. Preferably Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience within defence, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, engineering, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with ASDEFCON contracting frameworks is highly regarded.
- Proactive personality.
- Demonstrated success managing supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material availability.
- Experience coordinating across Planning, Procurement, Production, and Warehouse functions.
- Proven ability to manage supply risks, shortages, delays, and recovery plans.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and supply continuity.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and customer delivery requirements.
- Hands-on experience using ERP/MRP systems for planning, material management, and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
