What you will do

As program coordinator financial assistance scheme, you will lead work that supports one of Victoria's most important justice reforms.

You will improve business operations, guide major projects and help deliver better outcomes for victims of crime.

You will:

• lead business improvements that strengthen the financial assistance scheme
• provide high-level policy advice on complex and sensitive issues
• drive major programs that improve performance and service delivery
• manage important projects and support government decision-making
• work across the department to deliver timely and high-quality advice and responses.

About you

Qualifications in a relevant discipline are highly desirable.

You should have sound knowledge of Victorian Government administrative processes or the ability to build this knowledge quickly.

You should also have:

• strong policy and analytical skills
• proven experience providing public sector policy advice
• sound knowledge of justice policy or the ability to learn quickly
• excellent communication skills and the ability to lead people through complex work.
