With a strong focus on the mining, rail, resources, and industrial sectors, our client delivers innovative products and services that help customers improve operational efficiency, productivity, and equipment reliability.
What You Will Be Doing:
Material Removal: Removed excess metal, burrs, and sharp edges from cast components using cutting, grinding, and sanding techniques to achieve the required shape and finish.
Surface Preparation and Finishing: Operated abrasive wheels, rotary tools, sanders, and hand files to smooth, polish, and refine castings in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
Quality Inspection: Conducted visual inspections of finished components to identify cracks, defects, and dimensional irregularities, ensuring products met safety, quality, and operational requirements.
What You Will Need:
- Able to cope with intensive physical work in an industrial space
- Drivers Licence preferred
