About the Opportunity
The Entry Level Operator Traineeship has been developed to create meaningful employment and long-term career pathways for Robe River Kuruma members. The program runs across five structured phases — beginning with an initial mobilisation and induction program in Perth before commencing site based activities, followed by a soft start on site building mine fundamentals, then formal Mobile plant operator training, supervised operational hours and a final employment readiness assessment. Trainees build the skills, confidence and competencies to work safely and effectively on site, graduating with a nationally recognised Verification of Competency (VOC) in Mobile plant operation.
During the early stages of the program, trainees will focus on learning safe work practices, mine site routines, hazard awareness, communication, rehabilitation activities and team-based work before progressing into formal mobile plant operator training.
