Summary:

The Workshop Manager will oversee the daily operations of our transport and rail workshop in Shepparton, Victoria. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising workshop performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise workshop staff, ensuring effective allocation of tasks and resources.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of transport and rail vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Develop and manage workshop budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and services.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.
