Catering All-Rounder

POSITION SUMMARY

Aplenty is looking for a hands-on Catering All Rounder to support our events, FOH, beverage and logistics teams.

This is a varied role where no two days look quite the same — from batching cocktails and packing events to setting up grazing tables, supporting FOH or delivering our Ready to Serve orders.

Perfect for someone with hospitality experience, a flexible schedule and an interest in learning the ropes of a growing catering + events business.

**Please disregard position of 'kitchen hand', there was no option for a Catering All-Rounder!**

SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION LOOKS LIKE

• Events and deliveries are packed accurately and ready on time
• Event set-ups and pack-downs run smoothly
• Beverage orders are prepared, labelled and organised
• Equipment and stock are well maintained and accounted for
• You communicate clearly and take initiative
• Aplenty’s presentation and service standards are upheld

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY EVENT PREP & LOGISTICS

• Pack food, beverages, equipment and supplies using event paperwork and checklists
• Load and unload catering vehicles
• Deliver and collect catering orders and equipment across Sydney
• Keep stock, equipment and event preparation areas organised

BEVERAGE + CATERING SUPPORT

• Batch cocktails and prepare beverage orders
• Assist with grazing tables, beverage stations and event set-ups
• Support FOH service and pack-down where required
• Help across different areas of the business during busy periods

STANDARDS + ORGANISATION

• Follow Aplenty systems, checklists and procedures
• Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas
• Communicate any stock, equipment or logistical issues early
• Take initiative and help wherever needed

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

• FOH, hospitality, catering or events experience preferred
• Confident driving vans or similar vehicles
• Comfortable with lifting, loading and physical work
• Reliable, organised and able to follow instructions accurately

REQUIREMENTS

• Full Australian Driver’s Licence essential
• Current NSW RSA or willing to complete course
• Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends
