Cafe Manager

About the Role

As our Cafe Manager, you'll take full ownership of our food offering. This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role - you'll be on the floor, working alongside your team and leading from the front.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding service
• Manage all ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and profitability
• Manage rostering to ensure appropriate coverage across all shifts
• Conduct regular kitchen audits to maintain food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment in line with WHS requirements
• Plan and execute member events and activations across café and rooftop spaces
• Deliver a consistent, premium food and beverage offering aligned with our wellness values
• Collaborate with club leadership to continuously elevate the member experience

About You

You're not the type to manage from behind a screen. You thrive in the energy of a busy floor, you set the standard by showing up, and you bring the kind of leadership that makes a team want to follow.

• Proven experience in café, bar, or hospitality management with a strong customer service focus
• Confident with rostering, ordering, and the operational side of running a hospitality space
• Solid understanding of WHS obligations and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Passion for quality food and beverage
• Experience with making coffee and a genuine love for the craft
• High attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
• Available for early morning starts, evenings, and weekend shifts as required
