Your new role

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled SAP MuleSoft Integration Developer to join our enterprise IT team in Melbourne, VIC. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting robust API-led integration solutions that bridge complex SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD) with third-party applications, cloud systems, and legacy platforms SAP Expertise:Deep understanding of SAP integration points and technologies, including IDocs, BAPIs, and SAP JCo (Java Connector).

• Technical Proficiencies:
  Strong programming background in ABAP, Java and advanced Data Weave Architecture:Thorough understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), REST/SOAP web services, and enterprise messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, JMS).Methodology:
  Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and using CI/CD pipelines (eg MuleSoft , Git, Jenkins, or Maven)
• Coding & Database:45+ years expertise with ABAP, JSON, XML, SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• API-Led Connectivity:
  Design, develop, and govern reusable APIs (System, Process, Experience layers) using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• SAP Integration:
  Build complex integration workflows utilizing MuleSoft SAP Connectors to process data via SAP IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
• Data Transformation:
  Utilize DataWeave 2.0 to manage complex data mapping, transformations, and formatting between SAP and JSON/XML payloads

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working within modern cloud ERP landscapes (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture (e.g., SAP Event Mesh) and cloud connector protocols.
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Cloud Integration).
