Electrical engineer - Intermediate

We are seeking a skilled intermediate level Electrical Engineer - with expertise in energy and natural resources to contribute to exciting projects in the power industry. This role is based in Brisbane and offers an opportunity to work on impactful engineering solutions.

Description

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components for HV/LV designs across substations and renewable energy projects.
• Conduct technical analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver energy-efficient solutions.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including specifications and reports.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for ongoing operations.
• Contribute to project planning and resource allocation.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.

Profile

A successful applicant should have

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven expertise in energy and natural resources sector with a minimum of 4-5 years of expertise gained in Australia.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
• Experience with key softwares such as ETAP, DigSilent or Cymcap.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
