• $45/hr + penalties + $22.50/day travel + $20/day meal allowance
• 12-18 month project long term job security
• Monday to Saturday Roster with Daily overtime!

About the Client

Our client is a specialist environmental services provider delivering remediation, water treatment and civil solutions across a range of infrastructure and industrial projects. They combine engineering expertise with practical site-based solutions to manage environmental challenges, restore contaminated sites and improve water quality.

Hours :

You will be required to work Monday Saturday from 6:30am to 4:30pm, with the ability to work Sundays when and where required.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will be undertaking environmental remediation works on Gibson Island on the former industrial site. You will be responsible for the following duties as a Civil Labourer:

• Install, operate and monitor construction dewatering systems, including pumps, hoses, pipework and associated equipment to support excavation and remediation activities
• Set up, relocate and dismantle dewatering equipment across the project
• Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting of dewatering systems
• Physically handle, move and position pumps, hoses, fittings and ancillary equipment
• Assist with excavation support activities by managing water levels within trenches, excavations and remediation areas
• Perform general civil labouring duties including manual excavation, site preparation, trench support, housekeeping and assisting plant operators
• Operate the water cart when & where required

What You Will Need

• Previous experience completing the above duties
• White Card
• HR Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• Willingness and ability to wear a Powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) for long periods of time
• Physically fit as work will be labour intensive
