Parks and Gardens council worker:

A council in southwestern Sydney is looking for a motivated and reliable parks and gardens worker to join the park's maintenance team. This hands-on outdoor role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in open spaces and take pride in maintaining parks, gardens, and public areas to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Mowing, whipping, snipping and edging of parks and open spaces
  • General garden maintenance including planting, mulching and weeding
  • Pruning trees, shrubs, litter picking and garden beds
  • Litter collection and maintenance of public amenities
  • Adhering to all Work Health & Safety policies and procedures

To be eligible for this role, you must have the following:

  • WHS Industry Certificate (White Card) (mandatory)
  • Previous experience with parks and gardens
  • Class C driving licence.
