Queensland-based cattle operation managing a portfolio of large-scale properties. The business specialises in high-quality Hereford cattle, and is recognised for its significant presence in the regional agricultural industry.

Your new role

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP review, invoice processing, fixed assets, and general ledger integrity

• Prepare monthly management reports, cashflow analysis, and performance commentary against budget and forecast

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and identification of business drivers

• Deliver financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting to support decision making

• Manage compliance requirements including BAS, ABS reporting, and year-end audit support

• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and reporting accuracy across entities

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Team-oriented with a proactive and hands-on approach

• High attention to detail with effective time management

• Ability to work autonomously and drive continuous improvement

• Proficiency across Microsoft Office and ERP/accounting systems
