Labourer

Ongoing labouring work in the Newcastle area

Hays Trades & Labour are seeking experienced construction labourers to join upcoming and existing projects. We are working with a client specialising in large-scale construction who, due to increasing project requirements, is looking for skilled labourers to work across active sites, primarily within the commercial sector.

Your new role

You will be assisting the site team and tradespeople undertaking a variety of roles, including manual handling, operating power and hand tools, site clean-up and general construction work. You will be expected at times to take initiative and work independently to deliver outstanding results.

What you'll need to succeed

• Good physical fitness and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team
• Confident using power tools
• Solid work history with reliable references
• White Card (OHS Construction) and appropriate PPE
