Recycle Sorter

Join one of Australia’s leading recycling and resource recovery companies and help make a real difference to the environment. We’re seeking 2 motivated and reliable Recycling Sorters to join the team on-site at Bli Bli, Sunshine Coast.

Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD
Shifts: 5:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–8:00pm (must be available for both)
Roster: Approx. 3–4 shifts per week
Pay Rate: $36.70/hr (AM shift) | $41.84/hr (PM shift)

About the Role

You’ll work as part of a friendly team on a fast-moving conveyor line, sorting recyclable materials and ensuring only the right products make it through the process. This is a hands-on, physical role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys active work and contributing to a greener future.

Key duties include:

• Sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor belt

• Identifying and removing contaminants or non-recyclable items

• Placing items into correct chutes or bins

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Assisting with general site labouring and housekeeping tasks

• Following all safety and PPE procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks

• Able to work both early morning and afternoon shifts as required

• Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or warehousing (advantageous)

• Own reliable transport to and from site
