  • Undertake property inspections, firebreak compliance checks, and perform duties as a Bush Fire Control Officer where applicable.
  • Liaise with residents, visitors, community groups, contractors, legal representatives, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide advice on compliance matters.

  • Strong problem-solving, investigation, report writing, and decision-making skills, with a practical and balanced approach.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to handle difficult conversations professionally and fairly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence. Ranger experience is desirable but not essential; we welcome applicants with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
