Were looking for a Contracts Administrator with at least 3 years of real, practical experience managing upstream/downstream contracts, claims, departures, and payment processes. Someone who knows the rhythm of contract administration and is ready to step confidently into a fastmoving, highperforming team.
Youll work closely with our Fleet Manager, our operational teams, and our commercial specialists, supporting our Through Life Support (TLS) contracts one of the most exciting and rapidly growing areas of the Downer business.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Administering upstream contracts with accuracy and confidence
- Managing contract notices, variations, and timerelated impacts
- Handling departures, claims, and payment processes endtoend
- Identifying risks and opportunities early and acting on them
- Supporting progress claims, forecasting, and financial/project reporting
- Working onsite with operational teams to keep delivery on track
This is a 12month fulltime fixedterm role, based onsite at our Auburn, NSW depot right where the action happens.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3 years experience in contract administration within construction, infrastructure, maintenance, or a similar environment
- Strong exposure to Tier 2 upstream/downstream contracts, claims, departures, and payment processes
- A tertiary qualification in Construction, QS, Business Management or similar (highly regarded)
- Confidence in negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritise in a fastpaced environment
- A solid understanding of commercial management principles and project controls
- Bonus points if youve worked with tools like TeamBinder, Maximo or SAP.
