Cook/Sandwich hand

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our fast-paced espresso bar located in the heart of the CBD. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh, high-quality food and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.  Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook grab n go items

• Ensure all food is presented to a high standard and served in a timely manner

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and reduce food wastage

• Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during peak periods

• Adhere to workplace health and safety practices at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cook or sandwich hand in a similar environment

• Sound knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume setting

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Food Safety Handling Certificate (preferred)
