Lead a High-Performing Maintenance Team Are you an experienced maintenance professional ready to step into a key leadership role? We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join a large-scale production operation in Singleton, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with site leadership while driving maintenance performance, team development, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role offers the ideal balance of hands-on technical work and leadership responsibility, allowing you to make a genuine impact on operational performance and plant reliability.
About the Role As Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the maintenance function by coordinating daily maintenance activities, mentoring trades personnel, and ensuring plant reliability and operational efficiency. Working alongside the Maintenance Manager, you will help lead a dedicated maintenance team within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development

  • Train, mentor and develop maintenance personnel
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities
  • Assist with rostering to ensure effective team coverage
  • Foster a positive culture focused on safety, quality and teamwork
  • Provide guidance, coaching and performance support to team members

Maintenance & Operations

  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues
  • Respond effectively to breakdowns and operational incidents
  • Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements
  • Assist in the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with WHS requirements
  • Promote safe work practices and a strong safety culture
  • Participate in risk assessments, investigations and safety reporting
  • Monitor contractor and employee compliance with site procedures

About You Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance teams
  • Trade qualification with strong hands-on technical capability
  • Experience working within manufacturing, processing or production environments
  • Proven rostering, workforce planning and conflict resolution experience
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to think strategically
  • Flexibility to work across a seven-day operational environment when required

Highly Desirable

  • Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Trade qualification
  • Previous experience within food processing, meat processing or related industries
  • Advanced First Aid certification
  • Current Forklift Licence and EWP Ticket
