FP&A Transformation Leader | Shape Finance Strategy & Impact

  • Lead assessments of planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and decision-support processes.
  • Design future-state FP&A, rolling forecast, scenario modelling and performance management frameworks.
  • Deliver finance transformation engagements covering strategic planning, budgeting transformation, integrated business planning and enterprise planning models.
  • Enhance reporting, KPI frameworks, executive dashboards and performance review processes to improve decision-making.
  • Lead stakeholder workshops, develop business cases, and deliver executive-level recommendations and transformation roadmaps.
  • Build trusted relationships with finance and business leaders while supporting team development and delivery quality.
  • Contribute to proposals, solution development and practice growth initiatives.
  • A successful Financial Consultant should have:

    • Approximately 7 to 10 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, finance transformation, consulting, or large-scale business improvement programmes.
    • Strong experience across planning, budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, management reporting, and business performance management.
    • Proven ability to move from diagnostic assessment through detailed process design and implementation support.
    • Experience leading workstreams, workshops, and deliverables in complex stakeholder environments.
    • Consulting experience is preferred, although candidates from industry with significant transformation experience are encouraged to apply.
    • Exposure to platforms such as Oracle EPM, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Anaplan, SAP Analytics Cloud, Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, or similar technologies.
    • Strong financial modelling, scenario analysis, and performance management capability.
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools is advantageous.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIMA, or CMA are highly regarded.
    • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and consulting skills with a practical, outcomes-focused approach.
