About The Position

As Senior Cook, you will be responsible for the quality production of meals and food services to the village as well as ensuring that the kitchen, service and dining room facilities are cleaned and sanitised.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring proper presentation of dishes.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the kitchen, utensils, and workspaces clean and sanitised to ensure food safety.
• Menu Planning: Assisting in planning and preparing menus, considering food cost, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients.
• Managing Stock and Inventory: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring food supplies are well-stocked, fresh, and rotated properly.
• Following Safety Standards: Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature controls.

About You

The Senior Cook is responsible for the quality production and serving similar buffet home-style quality meals and food services to our residents at Ingenia Gardens Marsden. The ideal applicant has great customer service skills, ability to work unsupervised and must have friendly & caring disposition. Excellent award rates apply.
