CSBS is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team in Banya, Sunshine Coast , within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment.

About the Role

Location: Banya, Sunshine Coast  Employment Type: Part-Time and Casual Positions Available  Classification: SCHADS Award

As part of a 24/7 support team within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) service, shifts may include:

  • Afternoon shifts
  • Sleepover shifts
  • Active overnight shifts
  • Weekend shifts
  • Public holiday shifts

In this role, you will work alongside people living with disability, providing support with:

  • Personal support and activities of daily living
  • Community access and social participation
  • Domestic assistance and household tasks
  • Medication administration
  • Manual handling and hoist transfers
  • PEG/enteral feeding
  • Building skills, confidence, and independence
  • Supporting people to pursue their goals and make choices that matter to them

Availability across a variety of shift types will be highly regarded.

What You'll Need

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Open Queensland Driver Licence
  • Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Experience supporting people living with disability, preferably within a SIL environment
  • Experience providing personal support
  • Experience with medication administration
  • Experience with manual handling and hoist transfers
  • Experience with PEG/enteral feeding, or a willingness to undertake training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred support
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster
