Position required: Engineer – Tier 1 Principal Contractor Focus: Services & Mechanical
Duration: 10 weeks+
Location: Hills area
Project: Large refurbishment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordination of mechanical and building services design
• Overseeing services integration during construction phases
• Managing services, subcontractor,s and commissioning teams
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and engineers across design and delivery
• Assisting with tendering and reviewing building services scopes
• Budget tracking and reporting of services packages
• Identifying, managing, and resolving design changes or site variations
• Ensuring compliance with project safety, quality, and performance targets

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or similar
• Proven experience delivering mechanical or building services packages in Tier 1 or Tier 2 environments
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and coordinate service programs effectively
• Understanding of services commissioning, HVAC, hydraulics, and BMS systems
• Commercially astute with experience in services contract negotiation and administration
• Strong communication and reporting skills
