    An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Orthopaedic nurse leader to step into a pivotal management role within a highly regarded private hospital environment.

    This position offers the chance to work closely with senior clinical leadership while helping drive the continued development, coordination and performance of a busy Orthopaedic service. You will play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes, strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration and supporting the delivery of best-practice clinical care.

    This is an ideal opportunity for a senior nurse who enjoys combining hands-on leadership, stakeholder engagement and operational oversight in a dynamic and bustling setting.

    Your Role

    As the Orthopaedic Nurse Manager, you will support the coordination and advancement of Orthopaedic services across the hospital, partnering closely with VMOs, nursing teams and allied health professionals to ensure high standards of patient care and departmental performance.

    You will also contribute to workforce leadership, quality initiatives, service improvement strategies and ongoing specialty growth.

    What We're Looking For:

    • AHPRA nursing registration - current
    • At least 5 years experience in orthopaedics
    • Clinical leadership and support across Orthopaedic services
    • Team engagement, mentoring and workforce coordination
    • Stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams
    • Quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, service development and operational support
    • Evidence based care and patient outcome optimisation
    • Accreditation and specialty compliance processes
    • Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing - Orthopaedics advantageous
    • Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership capacity
    • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
    • Ability to influence, collaborate and lead within multidisciplinary environments
    • Strong organisational and problem solving capabilities
    • Commitment to continuous improvement and clinical excellence
