Production Estimator - Residential Construction

With a growing project pipeline and a commitment to innovation, quality and customer satisfaction, they are seeking an experienced Production Estimator to join their team.

Your new role

As a Production Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates and construction budgets for residential building projects. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are accurately costed and delivered within budget expectations.

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects
• Reviewing plans, specifications and engineering documentation
• Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Managing BOQs, take-offs and build cost calculations
• Pricing variations and maintaining cost databases
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Liaising with construction, procurement and operational teams throughout the estimating process

What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ years of estimating experience within residential construction
• Experience working for a volume builder, custom home builder or residential developer
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials
• Experience preparing BOQs, take-offs and project costings
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
