Operations Lead
Support the efficient operation and performance by leading core business management activities, operational governance, management reporting, financial administration and stakeholder coordination. Acting as a trusted operational partner to sector leadership, you will help drive effective business rhythms, operational control, informed decision-making and continuous business improvement. Key Responsibilities
~Lead operational governance activities, including management forums, meeting cadence, action tracking and follow-up.
~Develop, maintain and enhance management information, executive reporting packs, operational dashboards, business performance metrics and commentary.
~Support financial and business operations, including order management, financial reconciliations, aged debt management and operational financial controls.
~Coordinate resource management, workforce planning, onboarding, offboarding and compliance activities.
~Build and maintain strong working relationships across leadership, delivery teams, finance, resource management and corporate functions.
~Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational processes, reporting capability, data quality and business resilience.
~Ensure operational activities are delivered accurately, consistently and in accordance with CGI governance and client requirements.
~Provide operational insights and analysis to support business planning, performance management and strategic decision-making. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
~Demonstrated experience in Business Operations, Portfolio Management Office (PMO), Project Controls, Commercial Operations, Financial Administration or a related operational support function.
~Strong financial acumen with advanced analytical capability, particularly using Microsoft Excel and operational data analysis.
~Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
~Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical, operational and executive teams.
~Proven ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver high-quality operational outcomes.

Position Description
Join CGI Australia's Space, Defence & Intelligence (SDI) business unit. Supporting a portfolio delivering mission-critical services across Australia's Defence, Intelligence and Space sectors, you will lead business operations activities spanning governance, financial performance, resource management, reporting and continuous improvement.
