Accounts Payable Officer

- 20–25 hours per week spread across Monday to Friday

- Work directly with the Finance Manager
- Opportunity to build your payroll and broader finance experience
- Process supplier invoices and match them against purchase orders.
- Check coding and allocate costs to the correct projects.
- Follow up missing information, approvals and invoice discrepancies.
- Handle supplier enquiries and reconcile supplier statements.
- Prepare payment runs for review and approval.
- Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with weekly payroll preparation, including checking timesheets.
- Support month-end journals, reconciliations and general finance administration.
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping preferred but not essential
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounts within construction, civil or labour hire
- Comfortable using accounting software and Excel; MYOB AccountRight experience advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Australian citizenship is essential for this position
