Residential Youth Worker - Permanent Part Time
Praxis Solutions
Therapeutic Youth Support Worker
Permanent Part-Time (PPT) positions available across South East & South West Regions.
Offering PPT is part of a deliberate shift toward a more structured, consistent, and therapeutic rostering model , designed to improve outcomes for young people while providing greater stability and security for staff.
About the Roster Model
Successful applicants will be allocated to a fixed roster line (B, C or D) , working within a structured team model alongside a Senior Therapeutic Support Worker. These roster lines are designed to fully cover baseline program operations (typically 6:00am – 10:00pm plus sleepover), ensuring consistency in staffing and care delivery.
A key feature of these roles is the predictability and stability they provide, both for staff and, critically, for the young people we support. Consistent faces, routines, and relationships are central to therapeutic practice and positive outcomes.
Key Features of PPT Roster Lines
- Allocation to a fixed roster line (B, C or D)
- 48 or 56 hours per fortnight
